Since 2005 Psionic-Studios is major Web Development Company specializing in custom web development. Recently the quickly evolving Content Management Systems started conquering the low cost website development market and custom web development is reshaped to a new level in which clients ask us to make "custom" cms templates instead of whole websites ..+|+

Web Hosting companies quickly started offering preinstalled CMS Systems in order to boost their sales capacities and to conquer the inexpensive personal homepage market. Basically paying only the web hosting fee you could own perfectly good website and customize it/fine tune it to cover your needs.

We are ready to release the first Official TESTING Alpha Release but we will hold it up for few more days because there is no INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL and we have to write it, otherwise there will be a lot of support requests for very easy questions and thus we want to clear that up before we release this version..+|+

The main problem with that version and the reason why it's called TESTING version is that the CMS still doesn't have any Control Panel and all the input is done manually via PHP MyAdmin or SQL Queries if you are a hardcore developer.

Other than that we are quite satisfied with the work done because there are allready 4 websites (done by as) that are olnline at this time. We are releasing a very large website (approximately 600 pages) within a day or two which will be the primary example of the working seo website cms system.

P.S. Remember -- its not too late to get your suggested functionality included in the next release of the SEO Website CMS. Just send us email or contact the Live Support Team and they will be happy to write it down for you.

Our Content Management System entered the Seo World Championship with one website

The Psionic Studios team is participating with SEO Website CMS in the World Seo Championship 2007 organized by a Swedish web hosting company. This competition started today at noon - 1 PM EST (New York Time) and will finish on May 1st. The highest ranking website in all major search engines for the keyword globalwarming awareness2007 will win brand new Citroen C2, the second place will take Caribbean cruise and the third place will take Plasma TV from Sony..+|+

Today in exactly 1 PM EST the organizers for the Seo World Championship 2007 released the keyword globalwarming awareness2007 which gave zero results on all search engines (meaning that nobody used that combination ever. Few seconds later (and I really mean few seconds) all keyword matching domains were virtually gone! Everyone was fighting for get the best possible combination and satisfy the demanding Search Engine Rating Algorithms.

My team purchased the domain www.globalwarmingawareness2007seo.us - globalwarming awareness2007 and that was after serious fight, because we purchased the domain globalwarming-awareness dot us but we were few seconds late because someone already hit the button (place order) and we were two clicks back. Whatever we still got a good domain so the competition is on its way.

Very soon we will start seing some results from this query and everybody wants his domain to be on top. The only thig that we can do now is to write content and try to get the best possible keyword proportions + inbound links. Please support us by placing a link to www.globalwarmingawareness2007seo.us with text globalwarming awareness2007.

The biggest problem with CMS systems is that you can not add Server Based (PHP) scripts to sertain pages because you simply can't and we found a solution to that problem!

The biggest problem with CMS systems is that you can not add Server Based (PHP) scripts to certain pages because you simply can't and we found a solution to that problem and we called it the Custom Server Based Content Inclusion. This feature allows you to input in the main content area of the website custom server side executed script and also specify the page specific meta keywords like regular pages..+|+

I've always had problems combining Content Management Systems with custom made scripts, simply because the architecture of the common CMS websites allows only for database content inclusion and that content is simply printed on the client's browser. The SEO Website CMS is different! We made the Custom Server Based Content Inclusion which is simply including a PHP script file in the main content page (the center of the page where you have the information for that page). This enables web developers to add whatever they want to that page which is really awesome!

For example I wanted to have a custom web gallery and my pictures were named as img-00001.jpg to img-12232.jpg and they are all consecutive numbers. I was feeling very lazy to list them all and I felt the need to make custom script on php doing a simple for cycle for 1 to 12232 and adding the number to the url with simple print call. This five lines of code are virtually impossible to implement using regular Content Management Systems and thus I had to change that and make CMS systems more friendly to hardcore customization. That's how this feature got born!

WEBMASTERS -- that's you -- I need a list of features and functionality that you want to see on that CMS! I'm making this for you guys so please give me more info -- use your fantasy!

Cheers to all,

The main idea about the making of this module will be that this will lay down the foundation of a more complex module for the SEO Website CMS Forum Module which is next on our list.

There are plans for making a SEO Friendly Web Directory module for the CMS but this is still under consideration because we don't really know what we want to put there ..

Yesterday afternoon we found two bugs with the seo website cms and they were quickly found and shot at sight! The first one was that some servers do not support the PHP date function with DATE_ATOM parameter and thus we had a sitemaps issue with one of the testing websites. The second one was not so serious – we had a coding typo and instead of having $this for class call we had the name of the class i.e. $my_seoweb and that call was used to print the Meta Keywords tag for all pages.

Those two mistakes in combination caused the delay in the entry our website globalwarming awareness2007 seo world championship as all the good competition had already fed the search engines with the sitemaps url list.

The seo website cms package is almost ready. We have to fix few more things before we release it for official alpha testing to clients. There are 4-5 websites that we currently run on the Seo Website CMS and we are troubleshooting them constantly because we don’t want to release very buggy version and that’s the main reason why we still didn’t release the alpha testing version.

As you all might have red that our team is participating in the SEO World Championships 2007, but only few of you know that we were experiencing some major problems getting our web site indexed quickly with the SERPS

As you all might have red that our team is participating in the SEO World Championships 2007, but only few of you know that we were experiencing some major problems getting our web site indexed quickly with the SERPS. The situation was that the raw web logs showed search engine activities but the site itself was not included in the index as of that point. That brought the idea for the development of a new module for the SEO Website CMS which in fact was already implemented with one of our websites ..+|+

This seo website cms module is made of from two parts. The first one is a browser detector which determines what kind of browser you are using by checking the most popular ones from a given list. If your browser is not included in that list it is assumed that you are using NEW browser or you are a search engine, then your browser identification string, ip, url and date with time so you can back trace when the spiders visited each page and see how fresh it is without bothering going to the se website to check freshness of each url.

The only problem with that seo website cms tool for now is that you have to clean it up from time to time especially if you have more pages. For example we use it on our primary website and we have about 300 pages there, and that averages in about 3k-4k entries per month (search engines spider our site almost every day and there are about 10 large crawlers) and this produces a lot of MySQL data. We strongly suggest that this seo website cms tool is to be used by hardcore seo specialist especially for this issue. Also we are planning to make user friendly report interface for the seo website cms which will be able to automatically clean up duplicates and keep only 2-3 crawl history entries per page per search engine which is going to allow more webmasters to use it without any problem.

We just released the first official SEO Website CMS alpha testing version. This cms is fully functional but still under development as new features are constantly added!

We finally released the first SEO Website CMS testing version. Hopefully it will show its potential to experienced seos and webmasters who know what they are looking for in a good content management system. In this version we hope that there are no serious bugs or problems. We tried to release STABLE version which works fine on our testing websites.

There are more than 5 official websites that run on SEO Website CMS and one of them has more than 100 pages. The website works very stable and uses very low CPU usage and HDD. The whole SEO website CMS package revision Jan 29 2007 is about 40 KB. We tent not to use any pictures or graphics and make websites really fast loading...+|+

You can get the seo website cms download from the download section of our website

We also opened a discussion board located at forum.seophd.com - SEO Website CMS Official Discussion Board You can go there and post your questions and we will asnwer promptly. There are still no postings in that forum because we just created it and hopefully webmasters like you will help us get some content there.

Our team is currently working on few more features for the SEO Website CMS. The fist one is SEO friendly Web Directory for automatic link exchange and hopefully be able to automatically verify the link status and do some nasty SEO tricks. The second one is Website BLOG module that will do similar functions to Word-press (or maybe a bit less). Also we are working on a new text-link and banner module but for now its still done manually - editing the data/templates files.

Very soon we will release updates and new version so sit tight and relax

It is very surprising that we have about 10 running websites and nobody reported any bugs or problems with Seo Website CMS alpha testing version. This make me believe that for the limited functionality that we had developed until now, everything is working as expected.

White tracking some Search Engine Activities we decided to make some nice seo changes for the cms and to add cms support for custom 404 page which will be very useful to web visitors especially if you are upgrading for existing website to seo website cms. Also we are working on a Spider Ban where you can select search engine spider and ban him from crawling your website. This is quite useful when you have old website which is crawled by junk bots and content spam bots and even people can be restricted by ip...+|+

The most major improvement which we are working on is to add the web directory with automatic link exchange functionality and reciprocal link checking tool which will help monitoring your linking partners if they are trying to do some nasty tricks on you.

The next version of SEO Website CMS will be finished by mid January and hopefully will include all of the above and maybe more functionality. We have already finished some features but we don't want to make them public until we test them for some time.

We set up one testing website www.venetsian.com and we are going to post some stuff there to see how its working. The Seo Website CMS Blog has multiuser functionality and requires email activation upon registration. The blog is very similar to the news module just that enables other users to post and they can edit only their postings as typical blogs. The blog text requires clear html code input as all other sections of the administration but we might implement text editor sometime in near future but currently we do not feel the necessity of having it since all targeted users of the SEO Website CMS are experienced webmasters that want to have highly optimized search engine content and manual writing in the best for such needs....+|+

We started writing the seo website cms web directory module but currently we don't have a fully working version. During the testing period we were able to detect few major problems with the Alpha Version and we added some realy cool SEO functionallity that will be released in the Beta Version.

Yesterday we started working (and today we finished it) on Search Engine Keyword Tracker (SEKT) module for the SEO Website CMS. This module writes a history log of all keyword activity for each URL (currently only Google, Yahoo, MSN/LIVE and AOL but those are about enough). We‘ve always wondered (if you don‘t observe carefully the RAW Apache Logs or have URCHIN/ANALYTICS Account) what are they keywords that each page ranks for and what are people looking/finding when they come....+|+

Our project consisted of three parts - KEYWORD HIGHLIGHTER - it highlights the search text that the people used on SERPS with yellow background. Numerous Internet marketers claim that doing this highlighting people tend to stay longer as the usual period that each visitor spends is about few seconds and they must be able to see what they were looking for on that page or they leave. That‘s why I‘ve made that tool so that we can experiment and try to keep out visitors longer.

The Second part of the project was the SEKT recorder - we record all the keywords for each page and each visit is counted with hit counter. Therefore we are able to track how many times specific keyword was used to enter one page. Personally I think this is a great tool!

The third part is the SEKT Analyzer where you can see the actual positions for each page/keyword on search engines. We currently track the first 300 results on Google, Yahoo and MSN/LIVE. This information will help Search Engine Optimization people to track carefully their rankings and know what to optimize for! This is another great tool that I haven‘t seen on other Content Management Systems.

The bad part it is that again we will postpone the release of the Beta Testing Version due to the need to test-drive this new tool for a bit longer and make sure the Control Panel works perfectly. Currently the SEKT is cleaning up its own history but we will make it able to clear the visitor information on monthly/quarterly periods. This will again be done similar to the Bot-Trap Module where you can choose the period that you wish to clear.

That‘s it for now. We will post news as soon as we get something new done!

Cheers

Venetsian

We just finished the conversion of one very large website with more than 260 pages to SEO website CMS and thus we added some new features enabling our Content Management System to handle deep url linking with many sub directories using Mod_Rewrite feature in Apache. This feature enables webmasters to easily convert their current websites to content management systems without any major problems. This feature has only one issue - compatibility with other website modules - web gallery software and etc which are using the .html extension....+|+

The problem is the following. When we set up SEO Website CMS to capture all .html files including sub directories then if you have other existing folders with other scripts or web software like galleries, forums and etc that are using .html file extensions the CMS won't let them execute. This can be fixed by setting up mod_rewrite rule but currently we don't have automatic solution so you have to request one from our support team.

By default the Deep URL feature is disabled so if you're starting a new website you don't have to worry about the side-effects.

During the last weekend we found bug in the SEKT module. The bug was that each time a repetitive keyword for one URL was discovered instead of updating the hit counter only of that URL it updates to all URLs in the list. This was just a missed "where" clause and was fixed.

We will be looking a bit further for more bugs or problems and correct them before we release the SEO Website CMS Beta Testing version. Currently we are running updates and addons almost every day so we are reshaping it constantly with new goodies...+|+

For now we managed to keep it very low on resources and this makes is very server friendly as it doesn't use extensive queries (only about 10-15 queries per single page load) which compared to Wordpress (about 30-40 queries per page) is quite less. Also we are keeping the php syntax optimized and this helps the pages load very quickly and hopefully search engines won't be able to find that those html pages are dynamically generated.

Currently we are not planning to make new features just test the current ones and finally release the next version of the seo website cms. We will keep you updated.

We are almost ready to release the beta version of the SEO Website CMS and it will be only few days to get the final interface "remade" as the working version interface is nothing but simple tables. Now we will have cool fresh looking design that will make it more enjoyable to use.

The new release includes numerous bug fixes and some incredible improvements. Almost every week we get something new done and its terrific. Now we have to make the "Automatic Update Service" in order to be able to get new modules and update itself without anybody bothering to do it. This will make it more secure and stable......+|+

Also we have included some very nice "SEO TOYS" like Page Rank Buttons that you can linkbait other websites. We also plan to finally finish the SEO Directory with the link exchange functionality but that involves a lot of work and we currently don't have the time to invest in such effort. Very soon we will be able to complete it but I suppose that will be released in the Gama Testing version later on next month.

Yesterday we started an extension to the BLOG and NEWS module by adding custom categories. This feature will be similar to the WordPress Categories with the difference that you will have quite more control over the "category page" and you can have your custom title, keywords, description and introductory text.

With this feature you will be able to tag your postings and this categories will be displayed on all pages also below the post there will be link for the main category and five similar postings from the same category. This will bring a lot of backlinks and boost interlinking between the posts which was quite needed since currently all blog posts and News posts receive only 2 links ( one from the main page and one from the sitemaps) and this is not advisable for high ranking and causes some pages to be shown as supplemental on Google....+|+

We will also keep blog and news archive at /blog/ and /news/ directory as currently they return 404 NOT FOUND. The issue is a bit weird because we don't have links to that directory and YAHOO Slurp seems to do things on his own and I tracked him down requesting this directory listing. With the category feature you will not receive 404 and this will also fix the other problem of missing posts when they reach the main page display articles count.

This feature should be finished some time today or tomorrow.

This Website Monetizing features will be one really nice extension to the SEO Website CMS and will help quality websites boost up profits and sponsor them for even better content.

Last week I remember that I was contacted by one person who was very interested in test driving the new SEO Website CMS, but he underlined the importance of not having too many bugs because he "hates making patches" the hard way -- by add code to this line, remove this line and etc -- so we promised him that we will shoot as many bugs as possible before releasing the beta testing version. Yepp, so that's exactly what we did.

Since the list is quite big, I'll highlight some of the most important bugs that we fixed and some that we're still working on:

Security vulnerability for user to enter administrator level only by knowing the user-name. Status FIXED!

Submission of listings to the Directory requires user registration. Now we made low level user which does not need to be verified and therefore makes easy submissions. Status FIXED

Options for Listing Texts to be changed. Status IN PROGRESS

SEKT keyword hit counter increments hits by URL not by Keyword. Status FIXED

SEKT option for clearing old listings. Status NOT EVEN STARTED

RSS 2.0 Feed returns "wild" characters due to encoding issues. Status PARTIALLY FIXED. Needs more work

Manual limit on the number of news and blog listings to be published via RSS. Status FIXED.

Per Article manual button for listing being placed on Main Page and Published via RSS. Status PARTIALLY FIXED

We have much more fixes that this but those are the main issues that I can remember....+|+

Also I would like to add that we changed/redesigned the Administrator interface and made it quite user friendly. There are still changes that require some additional coding for the menu and etc (not to display options that are currently disabled and returning error messages, but they should be fixed easily when we have time to invest in them.

With all those changes the CMS took really professional look and its options are increasing exponentially every day. This brings me to the conclusions that this CMS will definitely rule the Web 2.0 world.

Today I red one very interesting blog by Blue Hat SEO on Link Saturation with Link Matching which is kind‘a new concept for me and really got me interested. From my own experience I do believe that there is a huge amount of backlinks to our websites sitting there in the middle of nowhere, not being indexed by the search engines because of poor internal linking structure or whatever other reason. The Blue Hat SEO covered the idea that if you help that website get indexed, you will be awarded with good backlink and I definitely agree that this will/is possible with some specific script. Also on his website he proposes the use of PHP/PERL/JAVASCRIPT for pinging this website to get crawled by search engines, but I think there is one quite more intelligent way in which you don‘t have to ping everyone but only confirmed link locations. Here is how:

When you find that you receive a hit from a web page (not a search engine), the CMS should check:

1st If this "refferer url" is not already in your CACHED LIST (special location in the database where you keep all referer URLs and their hits) and if it‘s already listed then increase the hits or if its not then:

Checks if this referer URL really contains a link to your website and its not from restricted location (aka email or whatever other resource it might be) and if its visible then list in in the referers database and request ping for the search engine crawlers to index that website

One other use for this module can be to easily locate referring URLs that you exchanged links or even paid for and see how many hits you got from them ....+|+

It is quite common that webmasters exchange links with the hopes to bring traffic from them but instead they are just dead links sitting only for the search engines to see. With this module you will be able to see the website that you receive traffic from and how many hits you got from each individual URL for some period.

Currently the biggest problem that my team has to figure out how to solve is the large database this feature will create as if you receive 1 hit from 10,000 URLs then the cms will end up with a huge list of URLs and this will be quite database consuming. For now I'm planning to develop this script to store the website url, the website itself, the link to which this page is referring and the hit count for that particular page. In this way we will have all key metrics to analyze which website is bringing us traffic and how much.

Yes AW Stats does provide some of those metrics but they are not quite precise since they do not show clearly if this page is a public or a private page (aka email message) and in this way its not really useful. For a change this will be a great tool and I hope I can get the maximum of it.

Lets not forget to thank Blue Hat SEO for the great idea!

Due to very high demand for the SEO Website CMS, now we are releasing a pre-release of the beta version. Unfortunately we don't have the installer finished, and therefore we offer free installation to your web hosting account. Yes Free! I'm offering this because I'm really confident that you're going to like it, and in the same time your obligations to me will be to report any bugs found so I can fix them before releasing the Beta Stable version.

If you're interested in checking it out, please send me email to support [at] seowebsitecms.com and include your web hosting information so I can login and install it for you

NOTE! Currently if you want to use the directory feature you need the domain to be the primary domain on the web hosting account. It does not work with addon domains!!!! Also your web hosting account must support CURL, if not it wont work! Also note that in order to use the CMS you must know HTML! If you don't know HTML, you want be able to make the maximum out of it and I'd recommend you to use Joomla or Wordpress!

When I release the final beta the update is very easy - you just overwrite the files and that's it. Not patching required!....+|+

Please send emails with the login information!

Due to the increasing demands for Web 2.0 compatibility we've changed the SEO website CMS to have more Social Bookmarking Capabilities and we removed the previous bookmarking menu and placed highly visible buttons with the sole purpose to increase the number of people clicking it. With the previous menu its was rather hard and kind'a invisible but now we can send the web 2.0 message and our request to be bookmarked.

Our latest experiments showed that Web 2.0 social bookmarks are extremely useful source of traffic and should be used as standard feature in our CMS. The best thing about this is that each click equals new link and a that's a good quality link that search engines appreciate quite a lot and therefore this is vital booster for our search engine marketing in both SEO and SEM.....+|+

We are currently running a number of experiments on the Web 2.0 standards as we are trying to bring all possible benefits as built in functionality to the SEO Website CMS.

At that moment we are running about 30 different websites as testing grounds for the SEO CMS and as soon as we track down all bugs associated and fine tune our seo algorithms we will put the official release for download. Currently you can request a copy by email, but the official version will be released in few weeks. Our testing partners are quite happy with the CMS and that's a great thing so we can't wait to get it out and see what you think.

Dear All, Unfortunately due to some financial situations in our company, the SEO Website CMS Beta Testing Version release will be delayed. Our project manager (me) took the decision no to release the Beta, but instead release 1.0 version when complete. This decision has been take due to the following reasons:

First, we don't need any beta testers right now, because we already run about 30 websites powered by the SEO Website CMS and they work quite well. Yes there are some bugs, and we are working on them.

Second, the Beta Testing Version was not going to give all the functionality that we implemented mainly because the administration forms for all components and modules are not ready as their development is quite time consuming and we don't want to rush on developing them before we optimize their functionality. We just redeveloped the Social Bookmarking Module and now its totally different because we found that the old one wasn't really functional. On this website we are still using the older version of the SEO Website CMS and you can see that its not really easy to bookmark....+|+

Also we are not ready with the Backlink Booster Module and few others that are not yet developed correctly. Yes we started working on them, but they are not functional and can be configured only manually editing the PHP scripts and that is totally unacceptable.

The last problem is that we didn't even start the new Installer Module, because the old one is useless as its totally different from what we need. Therefore we are kind'a stuck and we don't have enough financing to employ full time staff on the project and part time won't be so quickly as we thought.

This got me interested to look further into that problem and find what was causing this issue. The interesting thing that I found was that those occurrences coincident with RSS feed requests and this immediately brought my attention to our RSS feeds algorithm and its performance.

I've noticed that in order to produce RSS feed, we are generating huge MySQL query that can be as big as 1 MB and all that data is converted and then printed out. This used huge amounts of CPU and Memory for some short period and caused some slow-downs on our server. Actually that wasn't so problematic, but afterall I've descided to improve it and make it quite faster and less CPU intensive....+|+

The thing that is pretty obvious with RSS feeds is that generating them on each request is so dumb, and its just waist of resources especially when you don't have such quickly changing websites. In this situation I've decided to make our RSS generator write into one file - rss.xml and then re-write it when new content is added. This saves so much CPU and doesn't use any memory at all.

The issue wasnt that big, but when I subscribed to Feed-Burner and I have a couple of direct rss subscribers I've noticed that I have RSS request almost every few minutes (they are checking if something new popped out of my blog) and that was really unnecessary. Now with this update we don't have to worry and they can download it as often as they wish without bothering our system.

I think that's a great improvement especially for large websites with a lot of RSS subscribers as this will save them tons of CPU/MEMORY that they can use to boost up their visitor's performance instead. We will continue to monitor for possible faults and we will keep upgrading out algorithms for better performance.

P.S. Wordpress does not use static RSS generation, but they should!

Unfortunately Google did not foll for the trick and put the whole directory into the supplemental index only the main page was kept. I assume this is mainly due to low PR and thus all this pages with so much duplicate content (all seo web cms directories have the same structure) caused it to fall in the supplemental pages. The best thing to do is to quickly revise our strategy and get some unique content or boost the pr. I guess its easier to put/generate some content rather than start link building, but if both can be achieved it would be even better.

I'm currently working on one idea for scrapping the web for some unique content, but that theory is still to be developed properly and then tested. I'm really happy that we did not released the public version with that directory issue because at least now we can control the situation and it won't get out of hand to get us punished by Google for tons of duplicate content....+|+

I remember a while back that one friend of mine was complaining that he got his website banned from Google because he wrote one web directory software that was abusing the DMOZ database and was generating duplicate directories with the DMOZ data. That script go so popular that on one Google update banned the source aka his website, and now 3 years later its still out. He totally abandoned the project and advised all people not to use this script as they might get banned also.

Now the situation with all this duplicate content somehow sounds really familiar and I'll have to act swiftly and add some links/content to remove the duplicate issue or find some way to scrap news sources for unique content and then post it as feeds on the directory - that's a popular strategy but does not really generate unique content and therefore its just a temporary solution. In our case we need permanent solution and that's what we'll have to device soon

We just tracked one very serious issue with .htaccess Mod Rewrite URL rewriting for our SEO friendly URLs. This problem seems to be server configuration related and is occurring only on some web hosts. We tested the SEO Website CMS with Maiahost.com, BlueHost.com, HostGator.com and we found that it works well, but the app-handlers have to be commented. Today we tried to work on GoDaddy and we found one very serious issue as it seems that our standard way of using multiple conditions does not work with them. This requires some drastic changes in the modules as we will have to made dynamic moduling where the whole loading program will have to select the proper module instead of having separate PHP files for each module. In one hand this is good as it will give unlimited custom modules which is really nice functionality, but on the other hand will require a lot of coding to re-write the whole loader and administrator panel to support that new modular flexibility....+|+

The funny thing is that the Directory module seems to work quite well and we don't have any complaints with it. At least we won't have to rewrite the whole directory module.

I'll keep you updated when we fix that issue

We just updated the SEO Website CMS and we added one more very useful feature - Link Redirector. Now you can use 302 (FOUND) link redirection for all your affiliate links or other links that you don‘t want to pass any link juice to. We also made sure that the redirector.php file is in the robots txt disallowed list so that no search engine spider won‘t access it. Also we might put browser checking but I don‘t really think that‘s needed for now..+|+

We will build the Administrator Module shortly. Currently this is only done via the MySQL panel.
